Remote learning landscapes require a new way to get handouts to students. One way to create a portfolio is creating a Digital Notebook using Google Slides. Learn how to create a Google Slide Digital Notebook and ways to send new slides out to students using the Google Extension Slip-in-Slide.

New to storylines? Have newly adopted standards? Want to get a feel for how storylines work? This workshop will lead participants through some key activities to illustrate the inclusion of the 3 Dimensions in student-centered/driven instruction and assessment.

Using Technology to Make Storylines Remote-Ready, Saturday, January 23, 2021 10am-1pm Central Time Cost: $79

Storyline activities can be modified for the remote classroom! Learn, engage, share, and practice in a variety of technology strategies to support the Illinois Storyline Curriculum while also being able to apply to your other classes.

Workshop IV (Purchase Recorded Webinar)

Equity and Belonging through Modified Biology Storylines: Remote & In-person, Saturday, February 20, 2021, 10am-1pm Central Time Cost: $79

Storylines promote equity and belonging for the co-taught classroom. First, testimonies will be heard from biology and special education teachers who have implemented storylines to bring NGSS and equity to students with learning needs. Then explore and participate in developing strategies to modify the Illinois Storylines in a remote and/or in-person environment.

Storylining in AP Biology, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 6pm-9pm Central Time Cost: $79

This workshop will lead participants through a storyline for use in AP Biology to effectively teach to the CED and give students a more meaningful learning experience.
